Mont-Louis, Anse-Pleureuse and Gros-Morne

A magnificent bay, with two kilometres of beaches, ideal for kayaking, windsurfing, swimming and picnicking. Overlooking the river is the “Parc et Mer” site, enclosing hiking trails of the International Appalachian Trail network, offering various services such as: Internet café, camping, local crafts, entertainment and playgrounds. When nature adorns its winter coat, the cross-country ski and snowmobile trails offer breathtaking panoramas.

In the vallée d'Anse-Pleureuse, the lake and rest area invite you to admire nature and the falls of Roche-Pleureuse with a lookout platform and ornithological trails nearby.

At Gros-Morne, a hiking and cycling trail as well as a hebertism trail are accessible for 1,5 kilometres on the river road.
