Mont-Saint-Pierre
When it appears just off the road that winds along
the coast, this town conveys an image of rare purity, where the valley,
plateau, mountain, and bay exist in perfect harmony. Strikingly beautiful,
multicolored wings dot the sky all summer long. In fact, Mont-Saint-Pierre
is the free flight capital of Eastern Canada. The town is also the
gateway to Parc national de la Gaspésie and Réserve
faunique des Chic-Chocs (a wildlife reserve in the Mont-Jacques-Cartier
sector). |
