Sainte-Anne-des-Monts
Nestled in a cove, the town of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts
is known throughout northern Gaspésie for its picturesque
landscapes of sea and mountain. The gateway to the magnificent Parc
national de la Gaspésie, Sainte-Anne-des-Monts also boasts
a church with two belltowers and the stunning Sainte-Anne salmon
river. A park on the river's north shore is the perfect place to
enjoy the pure Gaspé air (walking trails, children's games,
inline skating trails, minigolf, shuffleboard). In the Tourelle (Turret)
sector, a walk on the beach leads to the last remaining monolith,
to whose turret shape the former municipality owes its name.
